I Learned Some New Stuff
I’ve been in a tech class the last couple of days learning how to teach and use digital storytelling in the classroom. Everyone had to produce their own digital story by the end of class today, so needless to say, I’ve been glued to my seat, staring at a computer for two whole days. I don’t know how you techies do it all day every day. One of the perks of my job is that I get to walk around a lot and intereact with humans. We were focused though - and teachers love it when their students are engaged.
We had to come to the class with a story already written. I grabbed a story from my blog from last fall that I’ve used in class to help model a writing piece I call “capturing a moment.” I had photos and a bit of video to support this post, so I prepped for class with little effort.

Oh Amy…that was wonderful. Could I have a box of tissue on th side with that! Having a background song that I absolutely love just added to the treat. Enjoy these days of childhood that pass so quickly!
